Shaker Heights Goalie Named Player of the Year

Senior Eric Sterin was given the honor by The Plain Dealer.

It's tough to get anything past Shaker Heights hockey goalie Eric Sterin. 

It's unlikely that he missed winning a major award either.

Sterin, a senior, was named as the hockey player of the year by The Cleveland Plain Dealer.

His efforts were vital in leading the Red Raiders to their fourth state championship this season, according to The Plain Dealer.

A starter since his freshman year, Sterin finished his career with a 91-31-1 record and with 32 shutouts.
