Shaker Heights Police Respond to Shooting on Lindholm

No arrests have been made in Saturday morning shooting

Shaker Heights Police responded to a shooting Saturday morning on Lindholm Road.

arrived at a home on the 3600 block of Lindholm after a call regarding an altercation between two males. After the argument escalated, one man shot the other with handgun, Lt. Jeff DeMuth said. The victim suffered wounds the hand and upper leg.

An ambulance transported him to an area hospital, and he was soon released, DeMuth said. Police have made no arrests, and the incident remains under investigation.

A Beachwood Police report shows that officers from that department provided mutual aid from 2:42 a.m. to 3:35 a.m. An officer stood by at the intersection of Lee and Lomand roads, while another was located at Riedham Road and Scottsdale Boulevard.
