Family-Reunion Threat, Home Break-Ins And More: Blotter Roundup

Telephone Harrassment: 
A Shaker Heights woman told police on July 7 that she and her son were receiving death threats from a sister-in-law after a run-in at a family reunion.

Burglary: A Woodbury Road resident reported July 9 that they returned home to find a rear kitchen window open. A cell phone that had been in the kitchen was missing.

Burglary: An Elsmere Road resident reported July 8 that someone broke into the back door of the home and moved items around, but nothing appeared missing. The resident believed the burglar used the milk chute to gain entrance to the home.

Sexual Assault: A Shaker Heights woman told police that her minor child had been sexually assaulted. The woman did not have any other evidence beyond her claim, but police are investigating.
