First Baptist Church to Host Rock of Faith Concert

Whatever you do, refrain from referring to the "Rock of Faith" as a church concert.
"This is a secular concert that really takes you on a journey," vocalist Laura Leanza Preston said.
The third annual concert begins at 7 p.m. Saturday at . Director and producer Carole Negus said she wanted to use secular music to draw in the youth to discuss avoiding bullying, cheating and other negative pressures.

The theme is "Caught in the Sin Trap." The concert features several Cleveland-area musicians, including Shaker resident Pete Psarras and Kevin Richards, who founded the in Cleveland Heights.
Tickets for the concert cost $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and $10 for students and children. The church will offer appetizers, desserts and a raffle at 6 p.m.
