The 4th annual Shaker Heights Arts & Music Festival will be held Saturday and Sunday and the 5th annual Larchmere Porchfest is Saturday.
"It has the feel of a giant Shaker block party," said Mayor Earl Leikin.

Shaker Heights Arts & Music Festival
When: June 22 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and June 23 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.Where: Farnsleigh Road between Warrensville Center Road and Van Aken Boulevard.

Need to know: Farnsleigh Road will be closed to through traffic from June 20 through June 23.
Getting there & parking: Ride the Blue Line Rapid to the Festival or find on-street parking or in RTA lots. On Saturday only, park from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Shaker Middle School and ride a free shuttle. Additionally, on Saturday from 10 am-10 pm, you can pay $1 and get a hand stamp at either the Arts & Music Festival or the Larchmere PorchFest to ride between the two events.
Details: The arts festival provides a weekend of great food, a juried art show, musical entertainment and activities for children. Festival highlights include the juried Craft Fair, presented by co-sponsor Ohio Designer Craftsmen, with 135 artists displaying an array of studio glass, jewelry, wearables, yard art, ceramics, photography and more.

Children’s activities arranged by the Ludlow Community Association include strolling performers on stilts, jugglers and magic as well as Verb Ballets’ professional dancers and their Wigglewords.
