Officers searching Highland Park Golf Course with Beachwood Police for a robbery suspect
The PNC Bank in Shaker Heights was robbed this afternoon, our news partners at WEWS News Channel 5 report.
Officers are searching Highland Park Golf Park for a robbery suspect, WEWS reports, but police would not confirm they are looking for the man who robbed the bank.
Police have evacuated the course and are urging people to stay away if possible.
Just before 1 p.m. Tuesday, a man jumped over the counter at PNC Bank on Chagrin Boulevard and robbed tellers at gunpoint, WEWS reports.
Fox8 adds that the suspect headed east on Chagrin with a black trash bag containing the stolen cash and that police also searched a nearby cemetery for the man.
