Shaker Heights Website Connects Local Businesses, Customers

The City of Shaker Heights has created an desktop and mobile site to connect local businesses with their client base.

Shop Shaker, which users can add to their homescreens on Android and iOS phones, includes business listings, current specials, photos and more.

“This is a vibrant and dynamic city, and the Shop Shaker app makes it easy for residents and visitors to connect and easily learn about the businesses that help our city thrive," said Economic Development Director Tania Menesse.

The site is part of Shaker Heights' economic development efforts, and is "are targeted towards strengthening existing businesses, supporting retail start-ups and eventually creating walkable, mixed use commercial districts," the city wrote in a press release.
