Family and friends gathered to remember Horwich, a Shaker Heights High School graduate, on Sunday afternoon at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel, according to an obituary published in The Plain Dealer.
"To the Horwich family: Stay strong, remain close and know that he was loved by people from all over. I graduated with him from Shaker, and we remained close through the years. I even got a chance to hang out with Brian when he stayed in Atlanta for awhile. I can honestly say I'll never meet another person like him again. He's one of a kind," Erica Hamilton wrote in the guest book.
