Jance was born on May 25, 1950 in Chicago. Here is an excerpt from his obituary: Jance Reynolds passed away December 18th, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Yvette Reynolds (nee Jett). UPDATE: Neighbor Says Smell of Smoke from Daleford House Fire Was 'Overbearing'

Shaker Heights firefighters also injured in incident.

UPDATED at 6 p.m. on Tuesday Shaker Heights Police reported that the two who died in the Daleford Road house fire were adults, a man and a woman.  They added that it took at least a couple of hours before visible flames on this house fire were out. Most neighbors say they did not know the family very well and were tight-lipped about the fire. Lindsey Barnhart, who said she lives a couple blocks away, said the smell of smoke woke her up this morning. "The smell of smoke was pretty overbearing," said Barnhart, who has lived in the neighborhood for several years. "It's horrible. It's always hard to see in your backyard." One neighbor said she woke up to people screaming while some of the victims were still inside the home. She said she dialed…
