April 18, 5:06 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a fight at the Around the World Playground near the Shaker Heights Library. Upon arrival, they questioned two men walking away from the scene and found that one had a warrant out for his arrest. He was taken into custody, but neither pressed charges for the fight. April 22, 12:08 p.m. — Police report that someone entered three vacant homes on the 18700 block of Van Aken Boulevard and stole copper piping. Boys arrested for graffiti in front of nine houses April 1, 5:55 p.m. — Three juvenile males — one aged 11 and two aged 16 — were arrested and charged with criminal mischief after police say they painted graffiti words and pictures, potentially gang-related, on the sidewalk in front of nine homes on the 3200 block of Chadbourne Road. Police arrest two for trespassing March 28, 5:40 p.m. — A neighbor called police when they said they spotted two men in the backyard of a home on the 2500 block of Pennington Road. The men were found and cited for trespassing. Burglar Arrested at Same West Park Home Twice

A man was arrested and charged with burglary in two separate incidents after police say he tried to break into the same home — and the same neighbor spotted him.

A vigilant neighbor and her housekeeper spotted the same man break into their neighbor's home twice in a span of just a few weeks, Shaker Heights Police said. Gordon Bradley, 48, of Cleveland, was spotted by a housekeeper trying to break into a home on the 2800 block of West Park on Feb. 20. She alerted her employer, who called police. Police found Bradley still inside the home and arrested him. Then on Saturday, March 30, the homeowner saw the same man, trying to break into the same home, and called police. They again arrested Bradley.  He was charged both times with burglary, a felony.

Fight Sends Teen to Hospital for Stitches March 20, 3:38 p.m. — Police arrested four teens after they responded to a report of a fight behind 3635 Lee Road. One of the teens, a 14-year-old boy from Cleveland, had marijuana on him and was charged for that. Shovel-toting man arrested on warrant Jan. 23, 4:44 p.m. — A man was arrested on a traffic warrant after police spotted him and someone else carrying shovels down Warrington Road, carrying shovels. The two matched the description of suspects in area burglaries, so police stopped them. Resident Spots Car Thief Driving Through Lawn

Police say a man who a resident spotted stealing their car and driving it through their lawn was arrested in Garfield Heights a short time later. A resident of the 16500 block of Fernway Road called police at 1:49 a.m. Jan. 18 after they said they saw someone take their car, driving it over their lawn while fleeing.
