Alan I agree. Parents coach to get their kids and kids friends a leg up. Kids are choosen too basedRead More on parents and kids being friends. Take AAU and All-Stars and positions in each sport. Parents coach because they want their kid in prime positions, kids are friends with certain kids or because a family does not like someone but the kid has talent not playing. You need "out of area" coaches to come and determine if a kid is "that good" to be at the next level not "locals" whom coach because that is the only way the kid will get playing time.

Mark, Great! I take Shaker Boulevard to Gates Mills to SOM Center. In the summer it can take asRead More little as 45 minutes (only ten minutes more than by car!) The streets are safe and smooth and traffic on SOM is bearable. The next Bike Shaker meeting is on July 2, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the Shaker Historical Society. We have a Facebook group (look for Bike Shaker) where events and project progress are posted. We also have an email list going - a separate website is on the way. Looking forward to seeing you on the road. Rick
