Shaker Schools Chooses Finalist for Superintendent Spot

District announces that a candidate has been chosen, but the district has not yet identified him

Shaker Heights City Schools announced today that the Board of Education has chosen a finalist for the superintendent spot.

The district will not release the name until a background check has been conducted, the release notes.

Mark Freeman announced last year that he will step down as Shaker Schools superintendent at the end of this school year. The district hired a firm to conduct the search last year, and released a profile of the ideal candidate earlier this year.
