Shaker Grad Named Assistant Middle School Principal

Miata Hunter will replace Carina Robinson

A 1992 graduate of Shaker Heights High School was named the new assistant principal at Shaker Heights Middle School, the district announced.

Miata Hunter was the chair of the mathematics department at the school, where she taught algebra and pre-algebra since 2004.

She has a bachelor's in mathematics from Cleveland State University and a master’s degree in applied and computational mathematics from the University of Minnesota - Duluth.

Hunter replaces Carina Robinson, who was recently named principal at Lomond Elementary School.
