Snack Bandits Arrested for $7.50 Theft

Shaker Heights Police arrested two 19-year-old men near the Shaker Heights Library.

The Shaker Heights Police Department supplied the following information. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Shaker Heights Police say that two men were chased and arrested for stealing $7.50 of shacks and drinks from Walgreens.

The two 19-year-old men were spotted by a clerk Sept. 20 just before 8:30 p.m., according to the police report, and ran from the 16400 Chagrin Blvd. drug store with stolen Skittles, Lafesavers, Laffy Taffy and fruit punch.

Police watched the two get into a car at the Shaker Heights Library and stopped the car. The snack bandits were arrested.
