Shaker Police Searching for Shooter

Police have an arrest warrant for a Cleveland Heights man they say shot a man in Shaker Heights.

The Shaker Heights Police Department supplied the following information. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Shaker Heights Police are looking for a man they say shot and injured a man last week.

The victim said that Anthony Dowell, 30, of Cleveland Heights, shot him in the arm and the back near the 12800 block of Fairhill Road in Shaker Lakes Park after an argument. The victim fled and hopped onto a city bus.

The city bus driver called police, who transported the man to the hospital. He's since been released.

Dowell is a black male, 5 foot, 11 inches and 170 pounds. If you know where he is, you can call Shaker Heights Police at (216) 491-1220.
