Shaker Heights Woman Accused Of Driving Drunk, Causing Crash That Hospitalized 3

A man, woman and their 3-year-old child was hospitalized after the crash

A Shaker Heights woman is accused of driving drunk and causing a crash that sent a man, woman and their 3-year-old child to the hospital, according to cleveland.com.

The crash occurred on April 3 near the Lander Road intersection.

According to Pepper Pike Police, the 45-year-old Shaker woman drove past a stop sign and hit the family’s car.

She was subsequently charged with running a stop sign, driving while drunk and having an open container -- to wit, a bottle of bourbon.

According to cleveland.com, the driver may also face a charge of aggravated vehicular assault.
