Shaker Heights Officer Involved in Shooting
The officer was placed on paid administrative leave.
A Shaker Heights Police officer was involved in a shooting early Monday mroning.
The city issued a news release stating that a shooting took place Monday morning as officers responded to a loud music complaint around 5:30 a.m. at
14004 Becket Road. The city's statement does not directly state that the officer was the shooter, but said that the involved officer is on paid administrative leave.
An adult male was taken to Metro General Hospital in Cleveland, but his condition is unknown.
"Our Investigative Bureau is investigating the incident," according to the statement.
