Shaker Heights Bank Robbed At Gunpoint

Authorities are asking for the public’s help tracking down a suspect accused robbing a Shaker Heights bank at gunpoint, reports Patch news partner WEWS News Channel 5.

The FBI said the Citizens Bank located at 3505 Lee Road in Shaker Heights was robbed just before 10:30 Wednesday morning.

The suspect the teller to place money from her drawer into the bag he provided and then fled the bank with the bag, according to the FBI. No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a man, approximately 20-25 years old, wearing a blue jacket with a grey hood, possible dreadlocks down to his waist.

Tips can be provided to the Cleveland FBI at 216-522-1400 or the Shaker Heights Police Department.  Reward money is available for information leading to the successful identification and prosecution of the individual(s) responsible. Tips can remain anonymous.
