Shaker Heights Police charged a woman with assault after they said she punched her brother's girlfriend over a food dispute.

Police responded to an apartment on the 18900 block of Winslow Road at around 5 a.m. April 10.

A woman there said that she had been playing video games with her boyfriend's sister when the two began arguing over food. As it escalated, the sister threatened to kill the woman, and the woman threw a box of popsicles at the girlfriend.

Then, police say, the girlfriend punched the woman.
