Here are this week's most bizarre police calls, reports and charges. All information was provided by police reports from departments in Patch communities. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Chair thrower: A bad day turned worse for a former employee at a Twinsburg company on Summit Commerce Park.

The woman's employer fired her on Aug. 22, and she responded by . The woman shouted obscenities at multiple employees before hurling a chair at one of them.

The victim was struck in the leg and decided to press assault charges on the former employee. The company has asked police to ban the woman from the premises and make sure she stays away.

Turtle down: A turtle in Avon must have posed quite a threat.

Police Chief Richard Bosley confirmed this week that an officer shot the turtle three times — after it had been .

A resident called at 7:50 a.m. on Aug. 28 to report a large, injured turtle sitting on a tree lawn at the intersection of Case and Detroit roads.

The turtle was about 16 inches in diameter. Bosley did not state why the animal was shot. The remains were soon cleared by the city's service department.

Who is this woman?: A Cleveland Heights resident woke up face-to-face to a strange woman on Aug. 18.

The Hillcrest Road woman woke up at 4 a.m. to the . As soon as they saw one another, the stranger fled. According to a police report, it appeared that the 5-foot-4-inch intruder had propped up a chair under the bathroom window and crawled into the home.

She did not steal anything.

Must have energy: Everybody needs a boost at times, but a man in Bath Township took things to another level.

According to a police report, he walked into a Shell True North gas station and of Red Bull into his pants. He ran out of the store and jumped into a stolen Oldsmobile from Akron. Police were unable to locate the man or car.

Summer of the streak: No summer week in Northeast Ohio is complete without at least one person exposing themselves in public, it seems.

This time, a man in Lakewood with no clothes. The streaking took place at 4:40 a.m., according to police. Officers found a set of clothes nearby in the 18000 block.
