Drunken driver passes out at Shaker intersection
Oct. 16 — Police found a man passed out at the wheel of his car at the stoplight at Shaker Boulevard and Lee Road. The 58-year-old University Heights man was arrested and charged with drunken driving.

Neighbor dispute leads to burglary, assault
Oct. 16 — A woman at 16800 block of Kenyon Road reported that her downstairs neighbors broke into her apartment and assaulted her and her roommate. The neighbors had been fighting for some time, police said, and they had been called to the address for disputes before. The downstairs neighbors — a 42-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man — were arrested and charged with burglary.

Search warrant yields marijuana plant
Oct. 17 — Police conducted a search on a 3600 block of Windell Road and found a marijuana plant. The 51-year-old man who lived in the home was cited for misdemeanor drug abuse.
