Man Shot in Face in Shaker Heights Home Invasion

Shaker Heights Police looking for two suspects in Ludgate Road robbery

Shaker Heights Police said that a man was shot in the face last week during a home invasion.

According to witness statements, two men entered a home on the 3600 block of Ludgate Road and told the residents to lie on the floor while the intruders searched the house for money and drugs.

One man shot one of the residents in the face. Police said the bullet entered the front of his top jaw, shattered his cheekbone, and left near his ear. The man was treated for non-lifethreatening injuries.

The suspects were gone when police arrived.

Another man, who said he was the shooting victim's brother, was arrested after police said he ran through police barriers. He was charged with misconduct at an emergency.

The two robbers are described as aged 18 to 25, black males, with hooded sweatshirts and something covering their faces.
