Man Pushing Lawnmower Down Road Arrested On Outstanding Warrant

A Shaker Heights Police officer saw a man pushing a lawnmower down the street and ended up arresting him on an outstanding warrant.

The man was pushing the lawnmower in the area of Rife Court and Menlo Road at about 8:52 p.m. on Aug. 1, according to Shaker Heights Police.

A police officer stopped the man and ran his information because he thought the lawnmower might be stolen. It turns out he was wanted by the police department on an outstanding warrant related to a drug possession charge.

The man was arrested.
