Man Charged With Robbing Shaker Donut Shop At Gunpoint

A 25-year-old Cleveland man is in jail facing an aggravated robbery charge after Shaker Heights Police say he robbed a donut shop on Chagrin Boulevard.

Devon Somerville, 25, of Cleveland, is currently in county jail after he was arrested June 20, according to Shaker Police.

The police report says that at 6 a.m. June 20, a man wearing a mask walked into Amy Joy Donuts on Chagrin Boulevard through a side entrance and pointed a gun at employees.

The man stole $800 in cash and fled, according to the report. Police were able to catch the suspect in possession of the cash later that day.
