Weymouth Road home burglarized
Jan. 8, 8:39 p.m. — A resident of the 2900 block of Weymouth Road told police that someone forced entry to the rear door of their home and stole an iPod, MP3 players and jewelry all valued at $384.

Woman exacts revenge on ex-beau’s new flame
Jan. 9, 11:13 p.m. — A Newell Road resident reported that his ex-girlfriend came to his house while his new girlfriend was there. The ex-girlfriend broke the new girlfriend’s car window, he alleges.

Gun or hairbrush? Family split about weapon in dispute
Jan. 9, 11:23 p.m. — Someone called police from a Hildana Road residence to report that a family member had pointed a gun at them during a family dispute. Police report that some witnesses allege that it was only a hairbrush – not a gun – and charges have not been filed.
