City Investigating Death Threats Against Retired Fire Chief

It was reported that a current firefighter made death threats against retired Fire Chief Kevin Jacobs.

Shaker Heights officials are investigating a death threat made against a former fire chief.

Interim Fire Chief Patrick Sweeney reported last week that a current firefighter threatened former chief Kevin Jacobs, according to The Plain Dealer.

Jacobs retired in March and was replaced by Sweeney for the interim.

Neither the name of the firefighter or details of the threat have been released.

According to The Plain Dealer, "Jacobs made references in the email to past disciplinary actions taken against the firefighter who allegedly made the threats."
