Explore the wonders of Shaker Heights’ history at
The Shaker Historical Society as we host an adventure camp for children in
grades 1-4, August 11 through August 15, 2014. The camp will be held at The
Shaker Historical Society, 16740 South Park Blvd. in Shaker Heights from
10:00 am-12:00 pm followed by an optional Lunch Bunch from 12:00-12:30 pm for
those who want to bring their own lunch and enjoy it on our beautiful grounds.
Time Traveling Shakers Camp is an
interactive adventure camp that travels through time in Shaker Heights. Grades 1-4 will explore a different time period daily in
Shaker Heights history through activities, crafts and games. Children will be
able to discover the ever-evolving history of Shaker Heights, from the most
recent events to the North Union Shakers to the Native Americans that once
lived here.
The fee is $60 for the full session or $15 per
