Shaker Heights Patch is celebrating the 100 years of Shaker Heights history by creating an online scrapbook. Each day for 100 days, we'll feature a photograph that helps tell the story of Shaker Heights.
Today's image is the architect's drawing of the Warner Theater. Its location was the intersection of Kinsman, South Moreland and Warrensville roads. The building was constructed in the late 1940s, well before Kinsman became and South Moreland became . If you visit the shopping center, you can see the outside outline of the theater near the Panera.
Thanks to Meghan Hays, Local History Librarian at Shaker Heights Public Library, for her help.
