Reader Reaction to Sarava, Sergio's Closing

Find out what your neighbors are saying about the restaurants closing.

It was announced Monday that both Sergio's and Sarava restaurants went out of business.

Sergio's, on University Circle, and Sarava, on Shaker Square, managed to stay in business even after the death of owner and head chef Sergio Abramof, Cleveland Scene reported.

But now that they've closed, some Shaker Heights Patch readers have shared their thoughts.

Guytano Parks said: I will miss Sarava's Sunday evenings with the music of Moises Borges on the patio...

William F. Cody Jr. said: Really sad for the square and its burgeoning food scene. Grotto, though still open, seems to be fading fast - wine cellar nearly empty, staff uniforms poor, broken window never fixed...hmmmm.
