St. Dominic Third-Grader's Book Advances to National Competition
Owen Roark's book "A Cheesy Tale" earns him a blue ribbon in WVIZ/PBS's PBS Kids Go! writing contest
Meet Mozzagorilla, a mischievous peice of (white cheddar, not mozzarella) cheese that likes to surprise mice.
He's the centerpiece of a picture book written by St. Dominic third-grader Owen Roark in the PBS Kids Go! writing contest. The book, A Cheesy Tale, won first place against third-graders from around Northeast Ohio.
Now Owen will compete against other regional winners in the national contest. The winners will be announced at the end of the summer.
