Shaker School Board Meets Tuesday: Five Things On The Agenda
Here are five things on the school board agenda you should pay attention to.
The Shaker Heights City Schools Board of Education meets at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the district office.
Here are five things on the agenda you should pay attention to:
1. First School Board Meeting For New Superintendent
This will be Superintendent Gregory Hutchings Jr.'s first board meeting on the job. Hutchings started on Aug. 1.
2. RTA Agreement
The school board will consider an agreement with RTA to offer reduced fares for students who use the RTA buses or rapid line to get to school.
3. School Bus Stops
The board will also vote on approving the school bus stops for the 2013-14 school year.
4. Financial Report
Shaker Heights Treasurer Bryan C. Christman will provide his monthly financial report during the meeting. You can learn more about the district finances at the school district website.
5. Executive Session
The school board plans to enter private, executive session to discuss the superintendent's evaluation.
