This class will teach you how to get the most out of your garden and summer produce specials. From canning basics to freezing, you’ll learn how to safely store many fruits and vegetables and get recipes using fresh, frozen and canned produce. Sample some of the fruits of our labor in class. Judi Strauss of TheCharmedKitchen.com will lead this class.

More About Nature Center at Shaker Lakes
The Nature Center at Shaker Lakes has been around since 1966. It was founded by the community to preserve the Shaker Parklands. This natural green space educates through innovative programs and community involvement. It offers camps, classes and tours, and has room rentals for birthday parties and other occasions. The Nature Center is open to the public year-round.
