Join Patch and Nighttown for our Presidential Debate Watch Party!

We’re bringing in big-screen TVs, serving up appetizers, playing election trivia and giving away prizes. We'll be live-Tweeting and posting on Facebook and, of course, on Shaker Heights Patch, Cleveland Heights Patch and Beachwood Patch.

You can be a part of the story, too: Bring your laptop, smartphone or tablet so you can join the conversation online.

Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. The debate gets under way at 9 p.m.

Cover charge is a $5 donation to the Friends of the Cleveland Heights-University Heights Public Library. Reservations are required.

I am surprised that this has gotten only one very positive comment. I am curious How are you going to maintain civility, prevent the "you liar" yell? Do you expect people to behave as mature adults when our elected representatives can't? The golden rule won't work! I would be homicidal if I treated others as I would have them treat me - 'cause I would rather be dead than vote republican. You will be glad to hear I am not coming out of fear. Is it still illegal to carry a concealed weapon in a bar? You expect fun; how will you deal with furry?

I have seen enough "fury" from unhinged liberals.
