Shaker Heights Standoff Ends Peacefully
Police responded to Sutton Road home after man locked himself inside his home.
Shaker Heights Police had an over-five-hour standoff with a Sutton Place man overnight.
Someone reported to police that a man was acting threateningly toward them just before 8 p.m. Wednesday. When police arrived at the home, the man refused to come outside.
The standoff lasted until about 1:30 a.m. No one was injured.
Criminal charges against the man are possible.
