The Shaker Heights boys basketball team is climbing up the ranks of the Associated Press state polls, but still has some work to do.

The 9-2 Red Raiders is listed among the teams that received points for the Division I AP poll, but have yet to crack the top 10. Columbus Northland is ranked No. 1. At No. 8, St. Ignatius is the only Northeast Ohio high school ranked in the top 10.

Locally, Shaker is again ranked No. 1 in the Plain Dealer's poll. The team travels to Medina for a matchup this Friday.
