Shaker Board of Education Re-Elects Annette Tucker Sutherland as President
William L. Clawson was also re-elected to his vice president post
Shaker Heights Board of Education re-elected Annette Tucker Sutherland as its president Tuesday at its meeting.

William L. Clawson made the motion, and Reuben Harris, Jr. seconded.
Sutherland has been board president since 2010. Also a Shaker alumna, Sutherland is an attorney who has practiced law for more than 25 years.
Clawson cited her "energy and great leadership" for her nomination.
Clawson, a business leader for Progressive Insurance, was re-elected as the board's vice president. Board member Amy Fulford made his nomination.
