Two of Shaker Heights' finest were honored at a breakfast Wednesday morning.
Police Lt. Jeff DeMuth and Ret. Fire Lt. Shaun Probert were honored as the Shaker Heights Rotary Club's Police Officer and Firefighter of the Year.

DeMuth has been with the department for 26 years and has performed several jobs, including leading the SWAT team.
Probert was with the department for 18 years before he contracted Lou Gehrig's disease and retired in 2010.
