Fiona Apple To Perform at Cain Park Friday
The singer-songwriter, who recently released her first album in seven years, will take the stage at Evans Amphitheater in the Cleveland Heights park.
Cain Park's 2012 summer concert series features a handful of well-known bands and artists — Counting Crows, America and Seal just to name a few.
Another big-name act is taking the stage at Evans Amphitheater Friday.
Fiona Apple will perform songs off her latest album, The Idler Wheel Is Wiser Than The Driver Of The Screw And Whipping Cords Will Serve You More Than Ropes Will Ever Do.
Apple is getting some attention for the lengthy title, but fans have also said that the album, her first in seven years and released in June, was worth waiting for.
Tracks on the The Idler Wheel exhibit what the 34-year-old singer-songwriter is known for — her personal, soulful, poetic lyrics.
The show starts at 8 p.m. July 6 and also features solo artist Blake Mills. For more information, visit the Cain Park website.
Tickets: $75 (Gold Circle), $59.50 (Price Level 1), $49.50 (Price Level 2) reserved; $37.50 general admission lawn. Visit www.cainpark.com to purchase tickets and check availability.
