$1,600 of Valuables Stolen in Home Burglary

The Shaker Heights Police Department supplied the following information. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

$1,600 of valuables stolen in home burglary

Oct. 23, 3:09 p.m. — A resident on the 3500 block of Lynnfield Road reported that someone went into their home and stole two video game systems and two laptops all valued at $1,600.

Several reports of gunfire believed to be fireworks

Oct. 26, 9:05 p.m. — Residents reported 10 to 12 gunshots in the area of the 2500 block of Kendall Road. Police did not find evidence of a shooting and believe it may have been fireworks.

Resident reports trash dumped in yard

Oct 27, 11:46 p.m. — A Lomond Road resident called police after they discovered what they thought was trash in their front yard, but it was someone’s wallet and other valuables that had been stolen from a car parked at the 3700 block of Daleford Road.
